Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. Her family was raised in an multiethnic family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. Jacqueline is the youngest of two sisters and a brother who is older. The family have moved to Bahrain in the late 1980s as a result of the Lankan civil unrest and hence her birth and education were in Bahrain. After completing school in Bahrain she won the Scholarship to the University of Sydney to pursue a Media and Communications Degree in Sydney, Australia. She also attended in the Berlitz School of Languages, which helped her improve on French, Arabic and Spanish. In addition, she was crowned Miss Sri Lanka 2006 for Miss Universe 2006 on March 6th of 2006, and then participated in Miss Universe 2006. Following her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone entered the television world as host of a TV show on Sri Lankan business known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone had the honor of being a daughter and badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew up in Bangalore, but she is a native of Copenhagen. In her teens she competed in badminton at National level competitions. She later resigned her professional career in order to be a fashion model. Padukone is a native of Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her primary language. Padukone Village is located in Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi Distric of Karnataka within India. Prakash Padukone's father is an international champion in badminton who is retiring. The mother of the child is a traveling agent.
